Is Observation the key to Innovation?

Observation is often where innovation begins. When we take the time to really look at something, we start to notice details and patterns that others might miss. This careful observation helps us spot problems or opportunities that could lead to new ideas.

The saying "people do not describe what they see; they see what they can describe" reminds us that our understanding is often limited by how we talk about things.

To innovate, we need to get better at noticing and describing what we observe. The more clearly we can describe what we see, the more likely we are to come up with creative solutions. In other words, paying close attention and being able to explain what we notice can help us find new ways to improve and create.
