Steve Jobs' real innovation wasn't the iPhone

The trouble with Innovation is that many of us don't really know it when we see it and often find it hard to describe.

For example:

Steve Jobs' real innovation wasn't the iPhone.

It was the iStore.

With that inspiration he created an unlimited revenue stream for Apple; an unlimited supply of super valuable solutions for the rest of us; a marketplace for the developers - whose abilities and solutions we are happy to pay for, use and improve.

Steve knew what you now know:

Innovation = identifying and satisfying unmet needs.

You will not find a simpler and better definition that that.
